Brilliant Movember: Moustaches in solidarity to save lives

Thanks to movements like Movember, the month of November has become the time of the year dedicated to the fight against premature death among men.and the illnesses that cause it. No matter where you are, it’s time to pay attention because this is a fun opportunity that brings people together to fight serious a problem. Want to know what we mean?

What is Movember really?

The Movember Foundation is an international charity organization started in 2003 as a project between friends (Travis Garone and Luke Slattery) that has grown to raise nearly 800 million dollars. The foundation has funded over 1,000 research projects focused on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and physical inactivity.

Movember currently sponsors many different initiatives that help bring visibility to the problem of premature death among men. One of them, and perhaps the most widely known, is one that asks people to grow out their moustaches to show support for the cause.
